Made from a skin of high-density polyurethane foam, the Tome Lamp is an experiment in sculpting light with a material normally hidden. Used as a diffuser, the polyurethane foam reveals an innate translucense and natural warmth, making a calm puddle of light. Named for the term denoting 'book' from the greek 'to cut', Tome is portable and rechargeable via mini-USB; able to be carried from room-to-room while it finds its home.
